About the Poet

Shannon Lynette, or as some of you know her as Lady on a Wire, is a poetess who resides in Albany, New York. Her poetry is edgy, razor sharp, and sprinkled with some feminine flair.

Shannon is the author of the titles A Place with No Name (2003, 2023), Lady on a Wire (2012), and Awkward Years (2022).  She co-authored, co-edited, and published Skeletons (2013), an anthology by her publishing press, Lady Chaos Press.  Shannon is also the editor and publisher of three other anthologies, Old Hollywood (2013), Twenty Seven Signs (2014), and Headlines and Tragedies (2017).

Just recently Shannon co-authored Ravorville (2023), with writer and poet friend Mike Zone and released a second edition of her first book titled A Place with No Name, Re/Versed (2023).

Through the years, Shannon’s poetry has appeared in several anthologies. Among them are The Universe inside (Poehemian Press, 2012), Bedroom Anatomy Lessons (Dumpster Fire Press, 2022), Evening, Wine, and Poetry (Wingless Dreamer, 2022), and Rhapsodies of Rhyme (Wingless Dreamer, 2023).
